Landmark Education Resumes Full Operation in New York Following Terrorist Attack
NEW YORK, September 18, 2001
Landmark Education, an education company with offices throughout the world, has resumed full operations in New York City despite having the largest of their education centers destroyed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001.
Although Landmark’s offices were lost, fortunately, its entire New York staff survived unharmed. Thanks to the remarkable dedication of its employees and the assistance of a sympathetic client, within five hours of the tragedy, the company had a temporary office space and was operating within 24 hours. Landmark considered it important for the employees to be able to communicate with their friends and families, as well as offer guidance and reassurance to Landmark programme participants.
Landmark Education is hailed by Time Magazine as “a global brand name” in the field of personal growth and development. Founded in 1991, Landmark believes that one of the qualities that has people be extraordinary is their ability to invent new possibilities in the face of any and all circumstances. This tenet was clearly evident in the actions of Landmark’s employees, and was demonstrated by countless heroes who worked to diminish the horror of last week’s terrorist attack.

The company has centers in countries. Currently, its course participants are collecting contributions for Red Cross Relief Efforts.
